Rev. Barbara’s Biography…
A lifetime member of the Body of Christ, Reverend Barbara has served and studied throughout the United States and abroad. After many years as an active layperson, she entered the process for Ministry in 1988 and received her license in 2002. God allowed her to serve throughout the United States as Director for Youth and Young adults, Associate Pastor, Education Director, and He gave her the opportunity to serve and study in Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, Germany and throughout Europe.
R ev. Barbara is a graduate from the Lancaster Theological Seminary with an M. Div and did her undergraduate work at the University of Notre Dame of Maryland. She received Ordination from the United Missionary Baptist Convention of Maryland – conferred by The Memorial Baptist Church. She is finishing her UCC requirement for Dual Standing through the Lancaster Theological Seminary with PNEC oversight as her Conference. Rev. Barbara is bi-vocational and serves as Capital Planner for the Maryland Port Administration.
S he loves music and has a love for singing that she describes as “larger than my gift.” In general, there is a consensus from those that know her that she loves to celebrate the life that God has given her!
She is married to Michael, whom she lovingly calls “King Michael,” and has two dogs: Jenifer and Jazmin.
H er journey at the Dille Parish UCC began November 2020. Along with Michael, Jenifer, and Jazmin, they are also bi-residential, sharing their time between Le Raysville and Hanover, PA.
